Question:
Why are accounts that were created offline not triggering Data Change Requests (DCR) when they are synced to CRM online?
Answer:
If the org is not leveraging the Create Unverified Accounts by Record Type feature, ensure that neither the end users nor the integration user have been granted any Field Level Security (FLS) to the Network_Create_Unverified_vod field on the Data_Change_Request_vod object. Granting Read or Edit FLS to this field without fully configuring the feature will produce unexpected behavior such as DCRs not being created.
If the org is not leveraging the CRM Managed Account Types feature, also ensure that end users do not have Create access for the Account, Address, and Child Account objects.
