Error: Required fields are missing: [Account_vod__c] - When Editing Dynamic Attribute on a CRM Account Record?

Question:

When a user saves an Account record after modifying a Dynamic Attribute checkbox, an error appears: Required fields are missing: [Account_vod__c].

Answer:

A possible reason for this error to occur is if the Default_Value_vod__c field on the Dynamic_Attribute_Configuration_vod__c record is populated, which can result in an error. 

The Default_Value_vod__c field for the Dynamic Attribute Configuration record with a Checkbox_vod record type is no longer supported.

Older environments may still have the Default_Value_vod__c field and support for this field under the Dynamic_Attribute_Configuration_vod__c object.
