Upon resetting a Password of an End User or System Admin in Veeva CRM, the following error is received:
Your Salesforce administrator recently requested to reset the password for the username email@example.com We can't reset your password because it was changed within the last 24 hours.
firstname.lastname@example.org is the username of the affected user.
The cause of the error is that the Require a minimum 1 day password lifetime Salesforce Password Policy is set at the organization level and/or the Profile level.
The solutions are as follows:
- 24 hours must pass in order to reset the password again.
- Using a CRM System Administrator, turn this option off at the Organization level by navigating to Setup --> Administration Setup --> Security Controls --> Password Policies
- Using a CRM System Administrator, turn this option off at the Profile level, by navigating to the CRM Profile Password Policies
