Overview:

The following error occurs when adding an account through Network Account Search:

The ASSMCA Number is required when creating a DEA Address for Puerto Rico

Root Cause:

ASSMCA is an outdated licensing system for providers in Puerto Rico. This error is caused by the validation rule named DEA_Puerto_Rico_vod in CRM on the Address object, which references an ASSMCA number.

If the account being downloaded does not have a value for ASSMCA, the validation rule triggers the error message. OpenData does not populate values for ASSMCA licensing any longer for Puerto Rico records. Disabling this validation rule resolves this issue and allows a user to download the account.
