Is it possible to edit the Channel Value in Consent Capture Offline if the corresponding field is read-only on the Account Detail page layout?
Example: If the Account.PersonEmail field is read-only on the Account Detail page, can the user add a new email in Consent Capture offline?
Veeva supports editing the Channel Value if the field is set as read-only on the layout. Follow the steps below to enable the feature:
- On the applicable Consent Header record, set the Reject_Channel_Source_Edit_On_Cancel_vod__c field to TRUE.
- Grant at least Field Level Security (FLS) read access to the Consent_Header_vod__c.Reject_Channel_Source_Edit_On_Cancel_vod__c field for the end-user.
